Gambhir..
I always felt that Gambhir is an avg player since his ranji days.but after T20 WC, especially the 70 odd runs he made in the finals fetched him huge attraction.
After his successes in ODIs, I use to feel that his career is moving towards an exceptional ODI player like Saurav
Now he has scored consecutive hundreds against cricket gurus...which has taken him to a different league..
Arguably, He may become one of the best batsman country has ever produced if injuries stay away from him.
I just went through his inns list (courtesy:- Cricinfo) ; and found an amazing fact that his minimum score in 2008 is 21- He has scored 680 runs from 6 tests in 2008. When am writing this blog, he is batting on 149* - Who knows will he convert this to a double or triple;) ? Let us pray for this indian future..:-)
